On September 7, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duangmanee Wongratanaphisan, Acting Director of Thailand Center of Excellence in Physics with a team of experts under the Hub of Talents welcomed Professor Hideaki Ohgaki, an expert on particle accelerator systems and applications from Kyoto University, at the PBP-CMU Electron Linac Laboratory and visited the Electron Accelerator Experiment Station, as well as discussing cooperation in developing an optical cavity system for producing mid-infrared free electron lasers (MIR-FEL).
