Following the seminar on “Utilization of Electron Accelerators and Infrared/Terahertz Free Electron Lasers” on December 13, 2023, which presented the application of THz imaging technology in agriculture and post-harvest management, the Hub of Talents for Post-Harvest Technology has coordinated to invite the Hub to discuss organizing a workshop and testing the application of Infrared/Terahertz Free Electron Laser technology in collaboration with the Spectroscopy and Sensor Devices Research Group, National Electronics and Computer Technology Center, which is a research group in the Hub's network on January 17, 2024. Coffee bean samples, which have seed borer problems and have affected exports, were also brought to test the THz imaging scanning technique to find samples with seed borers. From the discussion, the date of the workshop was set for a group of researchers/farmers in the network of the Center for Post-Harvest Technology Experts, totaling 60 people, in March 2024.
