On April 24-29, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Heishun Zen visited the PBP-CMU Electron Linac Laboratory (PCELL), Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, to lecture on the optical cavity adjustment for mid-infrared free-electron lasers in theory and practice. He also discussed the design of a system to measure the properties of radiation produced by mid-infrared free-electron lasers and a computer program for controlling the radiation measurement device.
In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Heishun Zen gave a special lecture on the latest research on free electron lasers published in academic journals on behalf of the Institute of Advanced Energy, Kyoto University, to the group of linear electron accelerator researchers to disseminate knowledge and inspire the group of researchers.
