ในส่วนของกิจกรรม Hands-on training ผู้เข้าร่วมการอบรมแบ่งกลุ่มออกเป็น 4 กลุ่ม เพื่อทำการจำลองลำอิเล็กตรอนในเครื่องเร่งอนุภาคแบบต่าง ๆ โดยใช้โปรแกรม ASTRA โปรแกรม ELEGANT โปรแกรม OPERA และ โปรแกรม CST ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยหัวข้อการอบรมดังนี้
- Hands-on Training with ASTRA Code บรรยายโดย Dr. Zachary Liptak จาก Hiroshima University และ Prof. Dr. Abhay Deshpande จาก Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER)
- Hands-on Training with ELEGANT Code บรรยายโดย Prof. Dr. Yujong Kim จาก Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) และ Dr. Wai-Keung Lau จาก National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC)
- Hands-on Training to design magnets with OPERA Code บรรยายโดย Dr. Prapaiwan Sunwong และ Warissara Tangyotkhajorn จาก สถาบันวิจัยแสงซินโครตรอน (องค์การมหาชน)
